First Dental Visit

Children

We welcome little ones to our office. We are all Moms treating you like family.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry advises a child should visit a dentist by their first birthday or within 6 months of his/her erupting front tooth.  We see a lot of babies at our office.

Baby's first visit- The pediatric dentist will examine your child and discuss preventive care- proper gum and tooth care, nutrition, brushing technique, check for tongue mobility, discuss airway, look at jaw structure..palate, tonsils and answer questions.  We do baby steps  for our little ones... tell, show, do. We only take x-rays when indicated, like trauma to a front tooth.
